Director’s Final Cut Enters Sixth Year Of Notes

BURBANK, CA—Describing the latest round of feedback as “mostly just polish,” the team behind an independent drama confirmed Friday that the director’s final cut had entered its sixth consecutive year of notes.

“We’re there,” said the director, opening a document titled FINAL_FINAL_LOCKED_v83_NEW_ENDING. “I just want to explore whether the first act could be the third act, and whether we need the second.”

The editor, who has celebrated two birthdays in the same chair, confirmed that the requested changes were simple in the sense that they could be described in a single email.
