CENTURY CITY, CA — Following a nasty tumble on set Wednesday, production officially reminded a lowly production assistant that his walkie-talkie costs significantly more to replace than he does.

“We just want to make sure everyone understands the strict hierarchy of financial liability,” said line producer Luis Szabo. “If you ever find yourself plummeting toward the ground, we strongly advise cushioning the impact with your own ribcage rather than risking the antenna.”

Szabo noted that while a replacement crew member can easily be recruited online in under twenty minutes, dispatching a new radio incurs a courier fee the budget simply cannot accommodate.

At press time, Szabo was seen carefully buckling the unblemished walkie-talkie into an ambulance, leaving the concussed crew member on the pavement to wait for an Uber.
