CENTURY CITY, CA — Offering a tight, apologetic smile while hovering motionless above the horizon, the sun politely declined Thursday to set according to the times laid out on the production’s call sheet.
“I sent out the revised schedule clearly noting when magic hour would begin,” said 1st AD Dev Vang, explaining that the celestial body had previously agreed to be completely dark in time for their night exteriors. “Instead, it just glared right back at me and flatly refused to drop below the treeline.”
“It’s obviously holding a grudge because we pushed its morning call time without asking,” Vang added. “Now it’s just going to beam at a 45-degree angle out of pure spite until we hit meal penalties.”
We reached out to the sun's agent prior to publishing the story, but he declined to comment.
